How does this trick work (Hidden executable file in folder executed via image file) - Demoralise - Oct 25, 2015 I remember reading something about having a hidden executable file in a folder being opened through a visible image file in the folder, don't know whether this works though as it doesn't seem that likely to work. If it does, how would I do this? * - exiverous - Oct 25, 2015 No not as far as I know. The closes you can get is have a file with a .exe that when someone runs it will open a picture and executes the code. then name the file: example.jpeg.exe but you cannot have a .jpeg extension run an executable file. * - Demoralise - Oct 25, 2015 Think I figured out how to do it.
