Youtube Video Award - Omniscient - Oct 31, 2015
I think I'm going to start a new Youtube Video Award thingy.

So I think it would be cool to do another round of awards to hand out to members who make videos for HF. Curious what members thought of this idea?
There will of course be some requirements to the video as far as links, mentions, public only, and time length. That will be discussed when I officially begin the Award granting.
The only thing I'm not sure about is if I should make this some sort of contest or just let people earn the award. Thoughts?

I think it should be a contest, because its not hard to get some random screenrecorder and make 1 video on hf, or the same video on hf but different variants

If it's the same award, I would say just hand it out. However, if you're going to make a new one a contest would be pretty cool.

Handing it out is nice. But we should do at least 2 things for it. I'll say let members decide on what they feel comfortable about.

Let people earn the award, IMO.
Maybe delegate the award giving process to someone so you haven't got to do it though.

I think it should be a contest. Round up a bunch of submissions and allow the community to vote for the best one and then you can put in your final "vote" as well. I think the top 5 should get the award, maybe 10? It is pretty limited so you'll be getting a lot of submissions.
