Premade Software vs. Selfmade Programs - SKSMole - Nov 8, 2015

Hi, new poster here. I was just wondering why there seems to be a lot of emphasis on premade (even commercial) software on this forum and not too much thought for people developing their own programs. Which do you guys prefer? Is it a question of pride versus practicality?

Let me know what you think.

It depends, if you're really good self made software is great, with little use it can remain FUD. Most people on here don't want to learn how to code though as getting to the point where you can make your own can be a long journey. Much longer than being like "Just downloaded dark comet pliz tell me how to rat and spread!" So yeah, it's just that the majority just wanna run premade because of laziness and difficulty. That being said there is a TON of premade that is fantastic so why fix what aint broke.

Chances are you won't have the time to program EVERY tool you will be using, also a lot of them boast near FUD if not FUD.

Is there a sort of honor among thieves when it comes to cracking programs? I can only imagine that when you make something to serve unscrupulous means that you wouldn't feel too bad taking information from your customers as well.

I'm no programmer by any means I always just thought there would be more to it than scripts.

As someone who codes his own tools I do it because:
  • Fun

  • I understand how it works

  • I can 100% rely on my tools

  • You learn a lot, life's about learning.
