I've never played Fallout, should I buy Fallout 4? - John Hawkins - Nov 10, 2015 So, this game is too hard to understand without playing the fallout 3, etc? And, should I buy it? Give me your opinion. *BOUGHT IT - DOWNLOADING IT - 13-11* * - Sympliotist - Nov 10, 2015 I don't understand the hype for this game either, I played Fallout 3 for a bit and got bored with it and quit. It seemed lame, I just don't understand it honestly, I don't understand what people like about it so much. But this amount of hype reminds me of when Skyrim was releasing, I didn't understand that either but gave the game a shot, and I fell in love with it. Anyone wanna explain the hype behind Fallout 4 and why people love fallout in general? * - Realizm - Nov 10, 2015 (Nov 10, 2015 04:27 PM)Sympliotist Wrote: I don't understand the hype for this game either, I played Fallout 3 for a bit and got bored with it and quit. Anytime that you can modify a game, it gets 2x bigger. * - John Hawkins - Nov 10, 2015 So, should I buy it? Ahah! * - Kіng - Nov 10, 2015 (Nov 10, 2015 04:37 PM)Sneil Wrote: So, should I buy it? Ahah! If you like the premise of the game (20th century's post apocalyptic) and have fun playing single-player rpg games, then I'd say go for it. I have done 100% completions on Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and Fallout NV so I was pretty set on buying Fallout 4. My opinion of Fallout 4? It's REALLY fun. It's loads better than Fallout 3 (in terms of content) and the incoming dlc + mods are gonna make it even better. * - WienerNips - Nov 10, 2015 Just torrent it and try it out for yourself. If you like it, then support the developers and just buy a copy off of steam. * - Seifer - Nov 10, 2015 (Nov 10, 2015 08:03 PM)NoxideGG Wrote: Just torrent it and try it out for yourself. I bought it and am currently enjoying it, and based on my past experiences with fallout and bethesda games in general, the modding community will make it well worth the money. The ghouls in the game are extremely well done so im currently waiting for a zombie mod like the ones for fallout 3 and new vegas :) * - Beachwater519 - Nov 11, 2015 I think the modding community makes it worth it. Of course, it's a good game, but mods can take it to another level and Bethesda knows this. * - SavageBoys - Nov 12, 2015 (Nov 11, 2015 12:50 AM)Beachwater519 Wrote: I think the modding community makes it worth it. They also gave us more to work with this time, an already implemented building system (like Wasteland Defense but better) an even more in depth weapon customization system and more control over your characters appearance. Though I can't say much how this is going to effect things in the long run as my mods were more utility in nature (Bigguns Armory Terminal) but I did model and texture some weapons and attachments/customization was a bitch. * - John Hawkins - Nov 13, 2015 I just bought it ahah, installing it now, thank you my brothas! :D * - Lone - Nov 13, 2015 (Nov 13, 2015 12:20 PM)Sneil Wrote: I just bought it ahah, installing it now, thank you my brothas! :D I've never playing fo3 either and I am enjoying fo4 a ton. Reviews on steam are very misleading so many man-babies acting like video game connoisseurs it's funny. * - Yuikoro - Nov 13, 2015 I only bought it because of the base building. Had it not been for that I would've just bought fallout 3 and get graphics mods So far the game is actually really great and one point in the story left me mind blown. Love the new weapon mods system as well * - John Hawkins - Nov 13, 2015 I am so excited to try the weapon crafting system, the power systems (includes turrets etc) and the BASE BUILDING! This game is so good, needs to be one of the best games or the best game of 2015. * - SavageBoys - Nov 13, 2015 (Nov 13, 2015 12:31 PM)Sender Wrote: I only bought it because of the base building. Really most people should have both Fo3 and Fo:NV due to the fact that there is a mod to merge both games together. * - Denitorious - Nov 13, 2015 (Nov 13, 2015 12:58 PM)Sneil Wrote: I am so excited to try the weapon crafting system, the power systems (includes turrets etc) and the BASE BUILDING! I'm 28 levels in and haven't even made a mod to a weapon yet, but make my own? never even saw the option to. |
