[Help]Monitor proccesses's bandwidth in Windows using Python - sulphur - Nov 19, 2015 Hello guys, is there a way to parse Windows process network bandwidth usage into python? I was looking for a way in google, and all I got was the total amount of the network usage, but not for a specific service. Thanks, any help is appreciated * - SavageBoys - Nov 19, 2015 I'm sure you can though I don't know how myself. I use Process Hacker in Windows instead of the default Task Manager and on the Network tab you can add columns to see bytes sent/received and rate. That is the only way I personally know to get that kind of information. * - hwchief - Nov 23, 2015 There are a number of libraries out there for python working with linux & unix which is primarily where I have worked, but I believe 'psutil' should do the trick. It's currently located on a website called python hosted, I cannot link you because this is my first post. If you need help with this I'm willing to give you a hand. * - sulphur - Nov 23, 2015 Psutil is a powerful python library which almost does the trick but it is not for specific process or service bandwidth monitoring. It actually gives you the total amount of network traffic. I think I have to use winpcap driver to do the job, bacause I need it for Windows. I know how to code it in Linux, thanks anyways ;) * - hwchief - Nov 23, 2015 (Nov 23, 2015 08:51 AM)sulphur Wrote: Psutil is a powerful python library which almost does the trick but it is not for specific process or service bandwidth monitoring.
