Managed Chromebooks and Developer Mode - Lucina_ - Nov 20, 2015 It has been a while since the last posts ever on this kind of topic: How might one get a managed Chromebook into developer mode? This particular Chromebook is a Lenovo Yoga 11e Thinkpad Chromebook, and is enrolled in my school. There is literally no rule against putting it into developer mode if you can do it for normal purposes (I can have it reset for standardized testing, the only time it might be required) so I am not looking to "black hat" into anything. "Esc-F3-Power" will put you into recovery mode, but will not override management. How might I go about unblocking developer mode? * - LaFLame - Nov 20, 2015 (Nov 20, 2015 05:38 PM)Lucina_ Wrote: It has been a while since the last posts ever on this kind of topic: try google it * - Lucina_ - Nov 25, 2015 (Nov 20, 2015 06:35 PM)LaFLame Wrote: try google it I'm sorry for not being able to find anything after searching 10 times. I haven't found any way to do anything leading up to the "remove management" step - though everything after that works just fine as I have tested using another Chromebook. |
