My new ride- Octavia VRS - UTRONEX - Nov 24, 2015 So some of you may or may not remember my little build thread a while ago: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4951499 Anyway the Subaru pretty much flew through its MOT (yearly check on cars for anyone living outside the UK). Only needed brake pipes, got those replaced and put it up for sale. Thought it was time for a change.. Was contacted by someone also selling his car asking for a straight swap, decided to go for it as his car was already pushing nearly 100bhp more than mine was. 320 bhp altogether :) Modifications so far: 18 inch BBS Motorsport alloys Updated turbo Forge dump valve Mapped to 320bhp Lowered on bilstein coilovers Bigger exhaust Colour coded front grill Cupra R front splitter Boost gauge Up rated clutch and dual mass flywheel All this was done by the previous owner, haven't decided what to do to it myself yet but I'm happy with the way it looks. Already started pricing up parts to get it to its stage 2. New turbo, manifold, intercooler etc. So that will probably be the next step :) * - Vicellus Drum - Nov 24, 2015 Brehhhh that fitment on point. Make it wider, get some fenders, wider wheels, and it'll be perfect. Some inspiration: Spoiler (Click to View) * - UTRONEX - Nov 24, 2015 Those arches look awesome, that car you have a picture of is a member on briskoda (the owners group). His cars gone through some mad changes don't even think it looks like that anymore.. * - Diciple - Nov 24, 2015 Nice car, only thing i dont like is the back of it but the res is nice * - UTRONEX - Nov 24, 2015 Yeah the back hasn't been touched yet, apart from the fly eye tints on the rear lights. Everything else is standard. Definitely room for improvement on the rear bumper, maybe a splitter to set the exhaust off a little more. * - Vicellus Drum - Nov 24, 2015 (Nov 24, 2015 02:53 AM)Utronex Wrote: Yeah the back hasn't been touched yet, apart from the fly eye tints on the rear lights. It would go well with a nice catback, carbon fiber splitter, get some fender flares, some nice 305 wheels & slickys, * - UTRONEX - Nov 24, 2015 Haha no not the set the exhaust note off! Hahaha! To make it look a little better, the exhaust is just hanging there at the moment of it had a splitter to help it sit a little closer to the bumper it would look clean as hell. * - Shot Caller - Nov 24, 2015 pile of crap boyracer in the UK with a car worth under a grand lmao * - Green crack - Nov 24, 2015 Nice ride you have there OP How much did you pay for her? * - UTRONEX - Nov 24, 2015 (Nov 24, 2015 12:05 PM)Green crack Wrote: Nice ride you have there OP Thanks dude, altogether the car sets me at around £2500. I'll be putting around another £1000/£1500 into it for new parts to get it ready for a stage 2 map then who knows. I'll probably get bored and swap it for something else haha. * - Subpar - Nov 24, 2015 Looks nice dude. Definitely roll out those fenders with a roller tool.. they're like 150 bucks. Or you could talk with the local car group and see if they have any.. I've got to roll out my fenders on my S4 still. * - ASOC - Nov 24, 2015 Man I am so jealous, love the new car. Hope it treats you well. * - UTRONEX - Nov 24, 2015 (Nov 24, 2015 12:45 PM)Subpar Wrote: Looks nice dude. Definitely roll out those fenders with a roller tool.. they're like 150 bucks. Wouldn't trust myself to do it, I studied bodywork when I was at college but I'd rather pay someone to do a decent job. It's definitely something I'll consider, either that or get the big arch extensions. Would love awesome with a set of nice wide wheels tucked under there 👍 Thanks for the comments! 👍 * - keefs - Nov 24, 2015 Awesome ride you have here, I like it a lot.. take good care of it! :) * - Mon£y - Nov 24, 2015 Nice car man, I wanted those rims myself. Think they'll go nice on my car. |
