Drone delivery won't work. - thales - Dec 6, 2015 Title says it all. I don't believe one bit in the drone delivery service. Here are reasons why: 1) They can be hacked 2) They can cause damage 3) They can be easily moved off course (wind or w/e it is) 4) They can be stolen (alone with items) etc. There just seems to be too many problems with it. Yes it would be efficient, yes it would be fast. Problem is would it be worth it. * - Enzio - Dec 6, 2015 (Dec 6, 2015 08:41 PM)thales Wrote: Title says it all. But again, people are dumb so I don't know. * - FamousHater - Dec 6, 2015 2. They can cause damage? U think they gonna crash into your house? * - Enzio - Dec 6, 2015 (Dec 6, 2015 08:44 PM)FamousHater Wrote: 2. They can cause damage? That hasn't stopped anyone from making a startup 2) LOL. 3) Satellite would've fallen out of the sky if we hadn't gotten this tech down by now. 4) GPS's are things, you know? There's the same likeliness that a small pilot plane would be hacked, moved off course, crashed into a house and stolen. * - Scared ️️ - Dec 6, 2015 Ok. Thanks for the heads up man. appreciate it * - Aur3xis - Dec 6, 2015 Well they sure gonna try preventing all the things you listed. It will be fun to discover flaws in this system and get free packages/drones lol (Dec 6, 2015 08:47 PM)Vicellus Drum Wrote: 1) So? Still, Nothing is unhackable, but these can still be made very difficult to hack 2) How? 3) Drones adjust to that, Unless its a fucking tornado, drones have the ability to counter wind, usually through GPS which knows when they are going off course, the same way planes do. Auto-pilot takes wind into consideration. * - Manipulate - Dec 6, 2015 1) See drone in air? 2) shoot it 3) get package 4) throw that drone far far away 5) ??? 6) profit * - Mikael Blomkvist - Dec 6, 2015 They will surely take measures to avoid all that. I won't imagine how tracking details would work with this haha. LOL DO YOU KNOW THE RANGE OF THOSE? You do know Amazon's drone has to be 10 miles within the range of their location? On top of all of that, you'd be charged because use of those is a Federal crime. * - Aur3xis - Dec 6, 2015 (Dec 6, 2015 08:49 PM)Squalo Wrote: They will have to make it 100% secure before they even consider launching it, Nothing is 100% secure. I can assure you that within first week of (FE)Amazon using drones as a delivery system there will be 'Hacking incidents' or stolen drones. That's 100% sure. * - Vicellus Drum - Dec 6, 2015 (Dec 6, 2015 08:54 PM)Aur3xis Wrote: Nothing is 100% secure. Put your money where your mouth is.
