I think it has been long enough for me to be able to talk about this. About 7 years ago it feels like, I earned a lot of money and bought myself a laptop. It was one of my first big purchases on my new bank account that my parents made me so I was hoping there would be no issues, but I made the cash deposit (holding $3,000 in bills in your hands is a great, rare feeling) into my account and I was good to go.
A few weeks after ordering my bad boy of the day, I checked my bank account to see a charge of $3,000, but it didn't seem to be negative, so I got my dad to look at it. We looked at the numbers and triple checked the balance, and I went onto their account to make sure I wasn't confusing positive for negative. Turns out, the computer company I bought the laptop sent me the money back. Crazy. It was like winning the lottery 🤗

I only Google'd "$3000 in cash" and found the wad which represented that. I didn't know it was tied to any story.

To be honest, it was a pretty obscure site (I was pretty excited, I know), so I couldn't even tell you who they were anymore. I used my Mom's old email she deleted to order it.
