Security Email Notifications - Omniscient - Dec 23, 2015
I'm going to start having security notifications sent out via email for certain actions.
Here is a small list:
1. Gauth disabled.
2. Password changed.
3. Email changed (old email on file will be used to alert)
4. New DisputeDB entry.
5. New login.
Each email will include the IP of the member at the time of the action. So if someone does make a change you'll know the IP. Of course this doesn't include the disputeDB entry. You won't know the other members IP.
Note: I plan on making this for Ub3r only at least at first and we'll see how effective it is and widely used.
If you wish to make a suggestion for alert email please post it now.

This is actually a really good idea.
Honestly not 100% sure why Dispute DB entries should be sent out, but it's most likely a good reason.

Well it's good to know if someone opened a dispute against you anyways.

The only other thing off the top of my head would be an option to get emails on thread creation.
Doesn't even have to be that specifically, just something that shows/alerts to account activity.
Other than that, nice finally get to put some weight on that SMTP server.

99% of the time, you will know when someone opens a dispute on you.

What about a confirmation email when you change your password or disable GAuth?

Maybe. I'll have to think if that enhances security though because if we banned the account it's already secured. I suppose for a Vacation ban it's not a terrible idea.

I think this i a really good idea however, this should be available for all upgraded members.
