Changing Steam Game Save Directory - Narrate - Dec 24, 2015

Hello HackForums,

I really hope I am posting this in the correct section, it seems more fitting to post here than in Computer Games. I am having a bit of trouble trying to change my steam save directory. I have already changed it to where it installs games on my D drive, but it still installs the game saves in my Documents folder on my C Drive.

If anyone can help me out with this issue, it would be much appreciated.

That just changes the installation of the games, which I've already done.

I'm talking about the game saves.

Game saves is usually different depending on the game. Unless the game you're playing gives you a way to change where it saves the files, you likely can't. The only game I have in my Steam library that saves files to my Documents folder is Need For Speed: Shift2. None of my other games put anything in that folder.

As far as I'm aware, this is not possible. As stated by _w0rm above, every game has their own save directory. Some games (Terraria, Binding of Isaac: Rebirth) use the "My Games" folder to store the saves and others just directly in their corresponding SteamApps folder.
