What are the rules with HYIPs? - ๖ۣۜEnlightened - Jan 4, 2016 Hi, I know that in the crypto section, HYIPs are not allowed...though I do a quick search/visit to the monetizing section and I see that it is openly discussed. So it leads me to the question, is discussion about HYIP's allowed or not? We all know that these sites end up in scam, though they can actually be quite profitable if you play at the right time (notice I said "play", as it should be considered a gamble) and get out at the right time. This is more of a rule check, and suggestion, to make this rule a little clearer Thank you! EDIT - I see in Help Docs it says that if you are OFFERING investment, you will have your account closed.... "This type of garbage won't be tolerated here. And don't bother calling it "investments" either. If you're promising a high-yield short-term return you will get your account closed. " What about discussion of such websites, simply discussion...this is what I mean when I made this topic, not users from HF offering investments. * - samsepi01 - Jan 4, 2016 Quote:HYIP & Ponzi Disallowed BlackHat Activity Help Document * - ๖ۣۜEnlightened - Jan 4, 2016 (Jan 4, 2016 06:49 PM)zer0w1re Wrote: Disallowed BlackHat Activity Help Document I just made the OP clearer for you, check the edit * - samsepi01 - Jan 4, 2016 (Jan 4, 2016 06:50 PM)Pure Diamond Wrote: I just made the OP clearer for you, check the edit I'd wait for Omniscient or a staff member to reply then. I'd think it would be disallowed, but lets let one of them make the final call. * - ๖ۣۜEnlightened - Jan 4, 2016 (Jan 4, 2016 06:54 PM)zer0w1re Wrote: I'd wait for Omniscient or a staff member to reply then. I also assumed so, but i guess it's a bit of a grey area with 'discussion' of such services out there, and actually offering it as a HF user (definitely not allowed). We will wait to see some staff response :) * - Lrrr - Jan 4, 2016 (Jan 4, 2016 06:49 PM)zer0w1re Wrote: Disallowed BlackHat Activity Help DocumentI disagree, OFFERING these services is not allowed on the forum. DO NOT OFFER THESE SERVICES Are you offering such a service? YES: you will lose your account NO: ...*crickets* * - Armada - Jan 4, 2016 Nope, stay the f$&k away from that. * - ๖ۣۜEnlightened - Jan 4, 2016 (Jan 4, 2016 08:30 PM)Lrrr Wrote: I disagree, no one is asking if they can offer services or not, we already know this is not allowed. I am talking about websites that are hyip, it is being discussed in monetizing section, i am asking if it is allowed. no one is offeirng it. anyway will close this, i think the conclusion is that it is against rules to talk about anything hyip * - Omniscient - Jan 5, 2016 Not allowed. Report it. |
