Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu watch order? - Aura - Jan 4, 2016 Alright so I have feeling that Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is the next Anime that will become one of my Top Anime to watch (dunno why, but I have a feeling). However, I'm a bit loss as to how I should go about watching it to experiment it to the fullest. Therefore, I have two options: First option, watch Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, followed by Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) and finally Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu (movie). So basically, I would end up watching the serie in the chronological order it was released. Second option would be to watch Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, mixed with Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) following the order below. http://myanimelist.net/anime/4382/Suzumiya_Haruhi_no_Yuuutsu_2009/moreinfo I thought that this order would be a mix of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009), but it seems that even the order of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is mixed as well. This being said, I'm tempted to go with the first option since I don't think it can be that bad, and they might have made Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) so it can still be enjoyed after watching Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu first, but I feel like I'll be missing the full experience if I don't watch Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) in the order listed on MAL. Thoughts? Endless-Eight was a huge ass waste of time. * - Lyralei - Jan 4, 2016 i remember watching those, made me think if the creators were lazy == Watch the last the first endless eight and the last two. * - Aura - Jan 4, 2016 (Jan 4, 2016 07:01 PM)neiqhtworks Wrote: Watch it in whatever order the site you're streaming it from has them in. I use KissAnime and there's all 28 episodes under Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. No way to tell which season they are coming from. Watch in release order...More entertaining that way. * - Gladly - Jan 4, 2016 Haruhi is one of my favorite shows, rewatched it multiple times in both release order and chronological order. Honestly, watching it in chronological order is the best choice. The main reasoning behind this, is the fact that season two doesn't take place after season one, but all in-between it. If you were to watch it in release order, it would make no sense at all. Besides making more sense, it's more enjoyable in chronological order. This is the best watch order I've experienced out of many of the orders posted online: http://haruhi.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Episodes Note: If you have the episodes downloaded or whatever, make sure you order the episodes in the order from the column on the left (ex watch 2, then 3, 5, 10, 13, etc) and make sure you're watching the right episode. If you're still confused you know where to find me. Have fun with Endless 8. * - Vipеr - Jan 4, 2016 Why the fuck cant they get their shit together and just be like every other normal anime. * - Aura - Jan 5, 2016 (Jan 4, 2016 09:21 PM)Gladly Wrote: Haruhi is one of my favorite shows, rewatched it multiple times in both release order and chronological order. Thanks Gladly :) I'll see if KissAnime have the episodes listed in the order you listed, and if not, I'll watch them somewhere else (like on MasterAni.me) to get the right order! * - ·Lawliet· - Jan 5, 2016 Yeah I watched it as it was being released. Awesome show, it won a place on my top 10. I did got the whole idea while watching it as it was being released but at that time there was no other way to watch it ofc, I was confused at certain parts but nevertheless it was still an amazing watch. What Gladly is referring to as "Endless eight" episodes, is an arc on the second season. Consists of one episode repeated 8 times with small changes. So my advice here would be to watch the first and the last of the "endless eight" arc. I watched the whole endless eight because it was being streamed so no one had no other option but to wish next episode would be different lol. * - CorrosiveBlueberry - Jan 5, 2016 Yeah; i was just planning on rewatching it as i thought i dropped the series a few episodes in, so i downloaded all 28 episodes; and realized i watched the whole first 14 episodes (1st season), also realized the whole how its mainly slice-of-life, and tedious time-loops, and not any of the cool stuff that happened in the first few episodes, as well as how everyone described the second series / endless eight thing; I've decided to put off watching the second series, and movie for now (because im sure the movie is also reliant upon the second series/all 28 episodes). It's a pretty good anime, i still rated the first season like a 8 or 9, however i mostly rate everything 8 or 9's on myanimelist and i've watched 200-300 series now, as well as movies and OVA's, so sometimes things like repetitive time loops annoy the fuck out of me lol. * - Aura - Jan 5, 2016 (Jan 4, 2016 09:21 PM)Gladly Wrote: Haruhi is one of my favorite shows, rewatched it multiple times in both release order and chronological order. Alright so this is really the order in which you should be watching this Anime and not the release order, otherwise it won't make sense at all. Now I'm watching the first Endless Eight episode. Should I watch all of them, or only the first and last one like suggested and skip the rest? * - Gladly - Jan 5, 2016 (Jan 5, 2016 04:13 PM)Aurа Wrote: Alright so this is really the order in which you should be watching this Anime and not the release order, otherwise it won't make sense at all. You can watch the whole Endless Eight, but they're all the same exact episode, skipping it saves 2 hours and you miss nothing. Only watch it if you want to see the same scenes animated slightly differently each time, with extremely similar dialogue. Consensus: just watch 1 and 8. * - Aura - Jan 6, 2016 In the end, I watched like the first 3 episodes, and then watched the last one. I wonder how the public reacted to seeing the same 8 episodes at the time of the release though 😯 |
