[Official] Brotherhood Recruitment[Ends the 29th] - -Hyperion - Jan 8, 2016 ![]() ![]() Owner: Cryptic Leaders:-Hyperion The Brotherhood described as an organization of individuals who are bound by loyalty to exercise their skills, knowledge, and time, which will encourage the acts of assisting oneself and others. We do not have one main purpose, skill, or idea. Over the past few months, we have worked on relaunching and improving the Brotherhood to better then ever. The group stands as one of the most reputable on Hack Forums and we aim to keep it that way. With the new structure changes made, the Brotherhood School going well and new goals set for the group; we have decided it is time to open up recruitment once again. Our two main section right now our WHH and Windows, with more to come in the future, we would like to fill these first but do not let that stop you from applying. For this recruitment, we are looking for members that meet the following criteria:
The members will all be hand picked and carefully interviewed, we are keeping the group small at <50 members, as we fill this is all that can managed successfully. Application Be very detailed and make your application stand out as we will be taking in no more than 20 members at this time. There are no limits to what you can or cannot include in your application, if you think something will make you stand out, feel free to add it.*note additional things such as graphics do not help, just use the form Trust Scan Link Use this form to apply: Code Username:Frequently Asked Questions Q: I was a member of this group in the past, can I get an invite? A: No, you will have to apply like everyone else. If you were removed for inactivity that's a key point on whether or not you will be accepted again. Q: Do you accept buy-ins? A: The Brotherhood has never accepted buy-ins, and never will. If you're looking to buy into a group we suggest you look elsewhere. Q: In the past you've had recruitment for a White Hat Helper program. Will this be returning anytime soon? A: At this time yes it will as soon as the current class is finished. Do not apply here if you want in the school, wait till that recruitment opens up. Q: I have not heard anything about my application, should I reapply or PM you? A: No, do not do that, wait till next recruitment is open. Also, STOP APPLYING THROUGH CP. Recruitment Status
OPEN 2/20 filled * - Incognito™ - Jan 8, 2016 Wow i thought this group completely died off, nice to see recruitment are starting again. I'd apply but my skills do not apply to HF unless someone needs their furnace / ac repaired. * - i a m g o n e - Jan 8, 2016 Are in no more than three user-owned groups. Groups such as Writers, Mentors, Staff, etc do not count towards this. How come? Just asking, since maybe the user is liked and wants to be in multiple diverse communites! * - Loki123 - Jan 8, 2016 (Jan 8, 2016 06:02 PM)tl:dr Wrote: Are in no more than three user-owned groups. This group will require you to allocate time in order to stay in it. * - i a m g o n e - Jan 8, 2016 (Jan 8, 2016 06:06 PM)Loki123 Wrote: The more groups you are involved with the less time you can allocate towards The Brotherhood. Sadly, that's pretty much the only things i'm good at the moment. But I hope to learn more about other things so I can teach and help other members as well. This includes knowledge in:
I don't necessarily specialize in any of these aforementioned things, but you'll see me around sections focusing around them from time to time with intelligible responses that answer the OP's question in its entirety. In the past few months I've been more of a lounge rat and not really focusing on the topics I'm actually interested in. Truth is, I am a die-hard computer enthusiast and have a few computer systems that I use for web & software development and gaming on the side. I have a personal website that I keep private and manage alongside other business ventures. I've made it a plan to continue my high-quality posting as was standard from me before I looked at Hack Forums as a laid-back platform. List all contributions to the site have you made within the 6 months: I have no real contributions recognized by the larger community, though I try my best to help out by posting answers to questions when I see fit. Evidence of this is present through viewing my post activity, where over two thousand posts in assorted sections went to helping people. I ran a pretty successful Minecraft Server Management helpdesk with half a dozen pages of posts back in the day, with another user. I'm also open to any help-desk type of work that could benefit members. https://hackforums.net/postactivity.php?uid=1915596 Apart from this general help, I giveaway things pretty frequently. Where do you see yourself (on Hack Forums) in the next 6 months?: I see myself just a step up from where I currently am. I'll have established myself as a trusted currency exchanger, and I also hope to become more known on the forums. How will joining this group help you reach where you want to be in those 6 months?: I see many users around the forums posting as members of The Brotherhood. This was especially prevalent in quality sections including RANF, COCH, and the marketplace, to name a few. I can sincerely say that my presence will not tarnish the reputation of the group - in fact, I'll be able to develop it even further for the better and I hope that your members can do the same for me. List any skills, training or certifications you have. None that are notable or relevant. Why should we pick you?: I'm a sociable guy and I think that I can improve myself by being dedicated to what I know and love. The Brotherhood has been, on my mind, a group that's been high on my list of outlets with which I can boost the forum within the group and the forums. With my plans outlined above, I think that 2016 can be a great year for self-improvement for myself.
