it is worth watching if you are looking for a combination of comedy and awesomeness.
it becomes really good after 10 or so episodes.

Yeah it's really good; if anything it's become one of those animes for me that i can watch a few episodes whenever, sure it has arcs and a plot and such kind of but like you can pick it up whenever, so like you can watch a few episodes whenever and leave it to watch other series and then go back. I've just watch a few episodes whenever i feel like it and its a very nice change of pace in life, just starting echousen

I managed to watch 4 episodes but I couldn't really get into it. The theme to it was just really off-putting.

When I started watching it, I got so fking bored.
I dno why it's so hyped up. If it's not one of these anime series you have to watch x-episodes before you can get into it.

Gintama is the anime you will watch when you wanna chill...+ after episode 20 its gets x5 better

It has good rate at MAL but i recommend you to not watch it.
i saw first 3-4 episodes and really couldn't watch more.

You have to watch it, seriously that anime is the best comedy anime ever made. What I noticed from watching it is that you need a liittle bit of Japanese language to get the joke while it's still flying.
Just, if you want an anime that makes you laugh, look no further. And yes, it needs a bit of patience until you get fully used to how awesome it is.

I found it amazing the plot and characters make no sense and few episodes later could be crazie and story wise is just so mad it's hard to follow

That's what makes Gintama :) But honestly, it was easy as fuck to follow.
