What's PayPals policy on returning on a new account after being limited? - Idea Thief - Jan 24, 2016 I'm curious. It seems like a large portion of PayPal users have continuous issues and continuously keep needing to make new accounts. I wonder if their policy states that multis are not allowed or if they provide second chances as long as you're now abiding by the rules? Their ToS state you can have more than 1 account, however I wonder if this applies if you've broken ToS before? * - minimalist - Jan 24, 2016 You'll usually have your account restored to normal after verifying your ID. If you've been selling as goods and services, then company registration info is usually required as well. * - SWS. - Jan 24, 2016 Their terms of service say that you're allowed to have 1 personal account and 1 business account and if your account gets limited you aren't supposed to make a new one. * - Eilif - Jan 24, 2016 If you have unsolved issues with paypal and they noticed you made a new account just to get around them, they will likely suspend you instantly. * - Light - Jan 24, 2016 You can't have more than two accounts and one must be opened as personal and the other as business. You can't legally have more than those two PayPal accounts. They simply make too much money to care about you being on PayPal and would rather kick you off too. * - CPA Exposé - Jan 24, 2016 It is not allowed. What would be the point of them suspending your account and allowing you to come right back on a new one? * - NZT - Jan 25, 2016 They can track IPs and so on - so if the new account matches any of your old details they will be linked and most likely banned. * - Narvikz - Jan 25, 2016 You can have a business and a personal account. However they are the biggest filthy scammers earth has ever seen, because once they limit one of them that policy doesn't stand any more LMAO. * - KFC Watermelon - Jan 25, 2016 Call them and close all your previous accounts, then create a new account with legitimate information. * - Narvikz - Jan 25, 2016 (Jan 25, 2016 12:44 PM)KFC Watermelon Wrote: Call them and close all your previous accounts, then create a new account with legitimate information. Are they just gonna close a previously limited account? Because limited accounts are supposed to be impossible to close. Especially until the last transaction is > 180 days ago. * - KFC Watermelon - Jan 25, 2016 (Jan 25, 2016 02:20 PM)Narvikz Wrote: Are they just gonna close a previously limited account? As long as the balance is $0 they should. * - Narvikz - Jan 25, 2016 (Jan 25, 2016 03:01 PM)KFC Watermelon Wrote: As long as the balance is $0 they should. What. lmao are you fucking serious right now? So let's say my balance is not 0$, it is like 15$, but I can't withdraw it until it is available (180 day period). It is permanently limited with no appealing possible. Once the 180 days pass I can just withdraw the cash that's there and give them a call to close my account, then do the same for the two others I made that were limited for being associated with this one and make a new one once again with all my legit information? * - KFC Watermelon - Jan 25, 2016 (Jan 25, 2016 03:58 PM)Narvikz Wrote: What. lmao are you fucking serious right now? Depends on the limitation and who you speak to I guess. But you should. * - Narvikz - Jan 25, 2016 (Jan 25, 2016 06:34 PM)KFC Watermelon Wrote: Depends on the limitation and who you speak to I guess. But you should. Yea, it's quite serious if you ask me XDDDDDDD I bought two rack servers in parts (CPUs, RAMs, cases, motherboards, CPU passive coolers and 12 disks) on ebay. Spent like > 4K on this shit and decided it would be a good idea to chargeback on most of the payments and say stuff didn't arrive, while purchased this to a reship and having like 8 different addresses with different persons added to the PayPal account. I guess it looked sketchy as fuck both to automatic or manual reviews on the account, got rekt rip in pepperonis. So, what are my odds? I've already made my peace anyway, been using Skrill and love it, the Mastercard is awesome and probably gonna use Stripe once it's available here (it's in Private Beta) |
