To prove to a certain someone. - Regan - Jan 26, 2016

Ok, so this guy got scammed I neg the kid with the scam report in the desc. He says he refunded the payment but the person that got scammed has not confirmed he got refunded yet.

And this kid is trying to tell me I need to remove the negs because its against the rules.

It's not against the rules if there is a scam report or a deal dispute linked to the neg.

You're not allowed to post a link to the scam report and give the person a scammer rep if you're not the one who got scammed.

What, a guy got scammed and I negged the scammer with the deal dispute that is against the rules?

Exactly what I am thinking.

No it's not.

Here.

Quote:Scammer Reputation: You're required to leave a link to a Deal Dispute thread you have created to infer someone is a scammer (ie: scammer, scams, chargebacks, scamming). Please note that a Deal Dispute link must be your own thread you've created. It cannot be a thread opened by another member.

[url=//hackforums.net/misc.php?action=help Wrote:Help Docs[/url]]I was scammed. How can I leave a scammer rep?
Make a deal dispute in the ‘Deal Dispute’ section, making sure to read the stickies to use the proper format. You may then leave them a negative reputation with a link to the thread; you may not call them a scammer in a reputation in any other manner. You may not ask others to give them negative reputation for being a scammer either; you may only give negative reputation for scamming if you are the one scammed.

That's exactly what I have done, I am now confused at mins post.

* - Kuso - Jan 26, 2016

Welp. Misread. Thought you were the victim.

You have to be the one scammed to leave it.

* - Regan - Jan 26, 2016

So in other words I need to remove my neg? I have seen so many members neg people who have scammed people.

Here.

It must be your own thread you're linking within the scam report for the reputation to be valid.

OP the reputation you left is disallowed. Recommend fixing it, or leave it there and face a warning, up to you.

So these are all against the rules?

"DWC" reps are allowed. Calling somebody a scammer is not.

We recommend you take the time to read the HF Help Documents section. The answer to your questions should be contained in there.

If they make claims he is a scammer, they have to leave it as a victim and a link.

Just change your rep to "Deal with caution."
