TWO HF ACCS ON THE SAME IP? - Adeft - Jan 26, 2016 So I was wondering if you're allowed to have more than one account per I.P. address on HackForums, because one of my family members also uses HackForums. Is this going to be a problem when trying to upgrade to UB3R or whatever? * - minimalist - Jan 26, 2016 You can explain the situation to Omniscient and he won't ban you. * - Serendity - Jan 26, 2016 You seem to have 2 family members now. Have fun getting UB3R * - Heart - Jan 26, 2016 Lol the classic my brother and sister and dog use HF excuse * - Adeft - Jan 26, 2016 (Jan 26, 2016 09:03 PM)Minimalist Wrote: You can explain the situation to Omniscient and he won't ban you. What are you talking about, I have one brother who is on here it's not that hard to believe. * - Fiz - Jan 26, 2016 Your account is matching 2 other member IPs, clearly something else is going on here. * - Heart - Jan 26, 2016 (Jan 26, 2016 09:08 PM)Adeft Wrote: Alright cool, thanks for the help man. That's what the past three people that used the family excuse have said. "I have one brother yet my account shows two matching IPs." * - Adeft - Jan 26, 2016 (Jan 26, 2016 09:12 PM)Fiz Wrote: Your account is matching 2 other member IPs, clearly something else is going on here. One is my brothers and one is a past account that i forgot the info for. It's not that big of a deal man lmao (Jan 26, 2016 09:13 PM)$uicide Wrote: That's what the past three people that used the family excuse have said. i was just wondering if that would lead to anything that would prohibit me from being a member on here. I have a brother and an old account that I never even posted with 😁 * - mrnapolean1 - Jan 26, 2016 You're running the risk of being merged. * - Red Sand - Sasori - Jan 26, 2016 Jesus christ the trunk moderators in this thread are real. Remember boys, innocent until proven guilty. * - Adeft - Jan 26, 2016 (Jan 26, 2016 09:19 PM)mrnapolean1 Wrote: You're running the risk of being merged. couldn't i just show proof of everything that i'm talking about to omniscient in a skype call if a problem ever came up? * - Red Sand - Sasori - Jan 26, 2016 (Jan 26, 2016 09:23 PM)Adeft Wrote: couldn't i just show proof of everything that i'm talking about to omniscient in a skype call if a problem ever came up? I'm sure he won't personally get in a skype call with you to prove your legitimacy. A video uploaded to YouTube would suffice. 🤝 * - Ninetales. - Jan 26, 2016 Common word: "Contact Omni" I've done it before... He basically told me there's no whitelist to merges. If it happens, well "fuck you". If one of the accounts that is on your IP does something stupid, he'll probably just merge and close accounts. * - Adeft - Jan 26, 2016 (Jan 26, 2016 09:24 PM)Ninetales. Wrote: Common word: "Contact Omni" if me and the other account on the IP just mind our own business and continue to be legit there shouldn't be a problem though, right? * - Doctor Blue - Jan 26, 2016 It is allowed. There is, however, no guarantee that you won't be merged under suspicion of multi-accounting. The best you can do is hope that it doesn't happen. Ut usually doesn't as long as the two accounts don't seem like the same person. I'm also sharing IP with one of my friends because I live at a dorm. Also to the people saying to contact Omniscient: Don't. |
