FATPEOPLE.LOL image board | new changes & RSS - Profatssor - Feb 2, 2016
So the site has just been slowly having work done on it now and is more active & presentable. Here's the homepage. A few new things:
-Disclaimer just to accept that you understand content may be offensive (since there is no sign up agreement)
-There's a file board (for hosting various archives and documents)
-vichan had a minor update so there is now an RSS feed for posts.
-much better styling on mobile, no need to zoom (removes a lot of unnecessary text that had ugly line-breaking)
Here is how to subscribe to the feed and get a little browser notification:
1. Download an rss viewer (browser addon)

2. Add the feed:

3. From now on, a notification will appear (like windows 10) when you have your browser open & in-focus when a new post is made (depending on the update period in settings and the max is 1 hour)
4. If you feel like copying my signature, it's just a copy of the website banner with a link added:

Earlier post (didn't want another thread)
Quote:Here's an image board site I started recently for fun and now it's at a stage where I think it looks decent and can be shared. There are a few boards, more can be added at user request. It is mainly focused on comedy/funny posts.
Currently I don't allow pornographic material because of my domain registrar, although I may transfer it and then create a board for adult content.
If anyone has suggestions for unique boards, comments or criticism (especially on styling, since I have been having problems with cross-browser/platform compatibility) please post them here or leave a post on the board.

LMFAO. I love the domain name. Great job, you should make the board based on hating fat people like the subvoat https://voat.co/v/fatpeoplehate
Good luck with whatever you do with the website.

Yeah, you can use the /fat/ board for that. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, I enjoy the image board format. Easy to run and use.

Spoilers, headers, italics, bold enabled. Vichan has a script that allows similar text formatting to 8chan so I enabled it for now.

Yep 🎉 Took a break, but I'm back.
Some changes outlined in the first post, and a mini-tutorial on how to subscribe to the rss feed to show a notification in your browser when somebody posts.
