Paypal Payments, Upgrades, and Cryptos - Omniscient - Feb 13, 2016
I am currently only accepting crypto currency upgrades such as Bitcoin. I apologize for the inconvenience. It's an unavoidable circumstance. Unsure how quickly I can fix the situation or if I will even bother.
We have been accepting a larger portion of Bitcoin upgrades and payments for a long time now. Eventually I was planning to be 100% Bitcoin. So today might be the day that we are Crypto Currency only.
Paypal has made alterations to their TOS/AUP which they claim we violate. I do not agree but there is always an issue with Paypal when it comes to fixing these situations. We were without Paypal for 3-4 months a number of years ago and we made the adjustment just fine. However, this time I am not sure I even care to fix it. Last time I had to get my lawyer involved.
This does create an inconvenience for many members who are unfamiliar with Bitcoin but imho they should be using cryptos online and learn to use the secure payment method.
Undoubtedly this does creates a change to HF and how I run this website. To a certain degree it makes payments and options much more secure and also private. Even now I don't review crypto payments the same way I do PP upgrades. Since Bitcoin payments are irreversible it ensures I don't have chargebacks or disputes on any payments.
In regards to the Currency Exchange section which was recently removed I will be making adjustments asap in order to reopen the forum but with more restrictions to heighten security for all members.
Again, I apologies for the inconvenience but as of right now I am not accepting Paypal for any payments. Changes are being made already for the upgrades, donations, and sticky payments.

EDIT: Upgrades are now set for BTC, LTC, DOGE, and DASH as options. Awards and stickies I am working but are set BTC only right now.

No problem, now I'm 18 and I can use coinbase if I wish to get bitcoins from there and donate something here.
It's also good that you have plans to open the CE section. I'm curious though, what terms did you violate exactly? :o
