There are too many threads here asking for your favorite movies, what people would recommend and what not, so fuck it here's my thread coming through.

I'm not the all-knowing genie or something, recommend your own stuff too.

I can't think of a good movie to watch!

You can find various of movies here to watch:

http://letterboxd.com/lists/ - View lists other people have compiled and skim through them for a good movie based on your taste.

http://www.imdb.com/chart/top - Top 250 of IMDb. Pretty self-explanationary. On the right side there are all kinds of genres to choose from, but I'll link the most popular here.

Action
Adventure
Comedy
Drama
Family
Horror
Romance
Sci-Fi
Thriller

I can't think of a good TV series to watch!

Once again IMDb is a good source for TV series.

Action
Adventure

https://trakt.tv/shows/trending - This site works much like Letterboxd but also has a section for TV shows, something Letterboxd lacks currently.

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/top-tv/ - Rotten Tomatoes has lots of compiled lists related to both TV series and movies, so here's a link.

Tip: Check through your favorite actor or actresses's Filmography list to find some movies or TV shows you might not have seen before. I'll include mine as examples because I can.

Yes, there's more than 4chan's /b/ board. Occasionally you'll find some interesting topics in the /tv/ board about movies and TV shows you may or may not have heard of.

Notable (older) HF threads:
What was the last movie you watched?
What TV shows do you watch?
Vitani's Mate's movie recommendations
