[ TUTORIAL ] EARN MONEY PLAYING A VIDEO GAME - RootBite - Feb 19, 2016

Make money playing Runescape


A free guide by RootBite

This method is not to be sold.


Let's get started.

Things you need!

Alright this thread will contain 1 method for obtaining real money for playing Runescape.

Anyways, the first method, will be based on leveling up a account for either PVP(look up builds such as Tank Archer (range and Defence are high)), or a skiller account.



Firstly. I'm going to go over making money with a PVP account.

So I wont go over how to actually train up your account or whatnot (MANY videos on youtube cover this, as well as easy to follow guides). But there are 2 types of PvP account Free 2 Play, and Pay to play, members in Pay 2 Play have different weapons to choose from than a free to play member.

Generally free to play accounts are, Ranged Tanks, Pure Range (They only level Up range), Pure strength or attack, a pure mage, or a mage tank. (The reason people dont usually level up ALL combat skills, is because, the way runescape works is if you level up attack, strength, defense, and magic, you will be a higher combat level, than someone with only attack, range, or magic, leveled up really high.

(and chances are, since they will hit harder then you will they could/would win)


But for P2P, there are many other builds (FAR to many to list, but Ill name a few that MANY people want, Obby Mauler, G Mauler, Void Archer, and just a pure archer.) Look up builds for those 4, and build the account with the one you seem to be the most fun for you, since you cant really bot a PVP account, (you can only bot woodcutting or fishing to earn money in reality), so the more fun you have doing this the better of you will be, as you want find the grinding tedious.


Your combat level defines who you can fight, so a level 100 combat level cant fight a level 30, and people get really strategic, because if you are combat level 33 with level 15 for all combat traits, a level 30 who only leveled up range will do more damage, than you ever could, and chances are will kill you. So you need to pick a build, and just go with it.



ANYWAYS, choose your build, (F2P or P2P, I forgot to mention, you could build a P2P character without having to buy membership, the build is just one that will be used for a P2P account, technically all you will be doing is leveling up certain attributes in which you can do P2P or F2P), look up a guide on building/leveling it up, and then follow off of that.


To earn gold coins (the ingame currency) so that you can buy items to train with, so this is where you can turn on a bot, to cut down logs, or go fishing (fishing is VERY profitable, especially if you get to the fishing level where you can go harpoon fishing to catch Swordfish which is a very easy 150k an hour).


The cool thing about the bot I gave you, is that it has ALOT of plugins, for automatically cutting down trees, or automatically going fishing for anything, and then banking the items.


HEADS UP, YOU CAN GET BANNED FOR BOTTING SO IF YOU DONT WANT TO RISK BEING BANNED, DO NOT BOT!


Anyways, so you trained up your account, and you are ready to sell the account to make your money, dont be a jag bag, and leave the account naked, with no items, gold, or anything. Gold goes for $1 for 1.5million pieces. So if you really have nothing on the account get $3million coins on it or something. Just to not make the buyer feel scammed, and so they can buy the weapons for the account and start playing.

So, head over to playerauctions.com, create your account, and add your paypal to it. Click "Sell", and then set up the form to sell your account, make sure in the title its like "[OSRS] - Level [Level] [ACCOUNT TYPE]". Than in the description, put its levels, put its account type, amount of money it has, amount of items it has, etc. WHEN someone buys it, they will contact you via email, and ask you to change over the accounts email to theirs.

Think of a price you find reasonable. You can even search the site for account of the similar type, or any account in general, and decide how much you will put it up for.

a way more profitable yet riskier method is to build a staker account, buy 5mill gp, stake it, turn it into 50mill, sell it. rinse and repeat

Not for making a PvP account. But you bot to get gold

Well my buddy used this with a game named "roblox" he traded money for items and trades items for more pricey items and then sold them?
