You should add to the hack you,

Like as in if the IP has a socket server running and forwarded past firewall/modem then "you" might easily become hacked. For example IP is hosting a apache server on a version that is exploitable then a simple socket payload sending the exploit would allow you to hack there system multipule ways.

Hell even some RAT socket servers can be exploited in a way to allow you to gain control of the "hackers" system.

So I would add that hosting a socket program/service and forwarding past your firewall/modem "which pretty much any good RAT requires" might be a way of allowing your system to be exploited.

No offense but I think if someone is worried about getting hacked with there IP I don't they will understand this.
But its something to keep in mind

Ya IM hoping we can just link them to this thread.
But we can't win every battle

Great thread, although i'm afraid that in a couple of days, it'll go down the pages fairly quickly, and there will be people still asking this question.

It should. But you have more of a chance to win the lottery before this or any similiar help threads get stickied.
