Proxy anonymity check help. - Decim - Feb 27, 2016 How does one classify a proxy server as Anonymous, Elite or Transparent? Just to be clear, I'm not looking for a website to do this for me, I'm looking to find out how the website does this. Is there an algorithm or at least some conditions that the server must satisfy to be given a particular anonymity level tag? Thanks. * - Termit7 - Feb 29, 2016 add me skype : termit7007 * - Decim - Mar 1, 2016 Why would I do that? Still looking for an answer. * - Tommy Chong- - Mar 1, 2016 This really got my attention. I was questioning the same a while back so i started googling again and i ended up with this. It might not be what you're looking for, but you'll get an idea on how the anonimity sort of works Code -Transparent Proxy is a normal proxy server which actually does not improve your online privacy.Again, its not an answer to your question, but it can help you pointing in the right direction of the answer EDIT: I THINK that a website that checks the proxy just tries to resolve: REMOTE_ADDR HTTP_VIA HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR But I'm a total noob if it comes to this so I dont know |
