Lost 2FA, can't access account... - Team4o4_temp - Mar 8, 2016

Hey guys!

This is my temp username to get help in recovering my actual profile. When upgrading my cell phone at my phone carrier, I lost my Google Authenticator data, therefore I do not have my 2FA code anymore. I have tried using the contact form on the website, and sending email, however I have not gotten a response. I really enjoy being part of this website, and would greatly appreciate someone helping me recover my 2FA/account. I have purchased UB3R and EP1C, and have also created many different threads. Good luck recovering it, you should've used authy man, you'll probably get repkilled for this.
Just hold on for official response, it might take some time to get your account back.

Unfortunately, to recover your account you need to wait on Omni to respond through the contact form and resolve this issue. You will get repkilled, unfortunately but you will get your account back if there's enough proof it is your account.

Well at least if I get repkilled, I still get all my old posts/content/user groups back!

Sounds good. I just wanted to make sure the contact form actually was doing it's job. I'd prefer not to be repkilled, but I get my OG account back. :) I was going to try sending Omni a PM, however I completely forgot I have to post 25 times until I can do so. I can do everything possible to show that I do own my account, I just wish Omni/an admin could get back to me as I filled out the contact form/sent an email about a week ago.

In order to recover your account you will need
  • Transaction ID for any upgrades
  • Original email associated with the account
  • Patience

I am sure Omni gets hundreds of contacts everyday through the contact form, it takes time to go through them, sometimes even a couple of months. As soon as you regain access you will be repkilled. You need to immediately activate 2FA with Authy, they have browser extensions and apps you can use. Best of all they have a backup feature so that you can use the same codes on multiple devices.

They will get back to you as soon as they have time, I understand the wait can be long, just take your time and browse the forum with this account until your accounts get merged!

Omni deleted all transaction details for PayPal payments, so that is not a valid way to validate, if your updates were purchased through paypal. Correct me if I'm wrong.

He deleted personal info columns, not the transaction IDs. He is still able to verify through that.

I did use PayPal for an upgrade! What would the name show up as on my transaction history?

Its fine, he can still verify on Paypal.com and you might have an email of upgrade. Anyway, requesting you to be patient as you've used the contact form.
