Java RAT Reverse Connection with Sockets - TopDawgIO - Mar 21, 2016 I already posted a question over here: hackforums[dot]net/showthread.php?tid=5197532 This is the problem I'm facing: I've developed a remote administration tool in Java. It is focused on Windows machines only atm. It uses a direct connection between two sockets. For testing purposes this was fine. I have to know the IP address of the computer to connect to, and the computer must have their firewall turned off. I would like to implement a reverse connection so that the server connects back to my client and that I only need to turn my firewall off. I have searched the internet for a few days now and could not find a good example. Could someone point me in the right direction? Tnx in advance * - Jire - Mar 21, 2016 This is not a "reverse connection"; it's simply a client. All you have to do is swap out socket and server socket, and portforward on your own machine that will host the botnet. * - Sogomn - Mar 22, 2016 I'm guessing that you're using the Socket class. As said before, that's no reverse connection. You simply need to be the server yourself. Code final ServerSocket you = new ServerSocket(25555);* - TopDawgIO - Mar 22, 2016 I couldn't get my head around the fact i would deploy a server on the victim. In the other thread someone else told me that this is indeed not necessary. Thank you for confirming. I'm going to change all my client classes into server classes and vice versa. If this can be achieved so easily with reversing the roles, what is the point of a reverse connection? * - TopDawgIO - Mar 25, 2016 I've reversed the roles, everything is working fine now. Thanks! |
