100% Disk Usage, games freezing for a second - Scrappy - Mar 24, 2016
Today I've been experiencing 100% disk usage randomly, as well as in-game freezes for like half a second. Help is appreciated. I don't know if it's just a Windows 10 error or an infection.

First open task manager, assuming you're on Win10, right click on the win logo and task manager should be an option there (right under command prompt). Expand details and click on disk until its descending order (from bigger to small usage). Take a screen and post them here.

It doesn't seem to be at 100% anymore, but I can tell you it was a process called "System and compressed memory" taking up most of the memory and disk, as well as svchost. Ever since this happened I've been experiencing random fps spikes on games for half a second.
