Add TLDR Text box When Ceating a Thread - Ooze - Apr 3, 2016

I searched this a bit in this section and didnt se anything so I thought I would suggest it.

So when making a thread there would be an extra text box below this one where users can add a TLDR to whatever the thread was about.
It wouldn't have be a mandatory thing but I nice feature.
Obviously this isn't something that needs to be done but having a TLDR in a thread is always nice and a nice reminder when making a thread would go a long ways in having more people use it.

Leave suggestions below.

Isn't it just easier to write TLDR under everything you just wrote, unless of course you mean like there will be a box with some nice padding and stuff.

tl;drs are the main cause of off-topic posts. Nobody reads the actual content and they just post irrelevant bullshit.

How would that be any easier?
Its about the same thing but reminds users to write one, also it could be coded to break from the main thread

Or you can just put the tl;dr in a quote.

Or just stop being lazy and read the fucking post.

I feel that irrelevant bullshit as you put it so lightly will be posted whether or not of a Tldr.
I don't see much correlation

If it's highlighted in a specific area the chance is higher that users will disregard the original post and just read the TL;DR. I'm active in innuendo, and if people post a TL;DR most people won't read the original post. Due to this you can see the thread getting flooded with extremely bad advice because users are too lazy to actually look at the details. Highlighting the simplified version would be encouraging those posts. When people ask for advice it's logical they want the best advice possible.

Use the [spoiler] tag for it. This isn't a necessity.

TL;DR is for morons.
