"We do not take reservations for stickies or prepayments. To gain a sticky in a sold out section you must first wait till you see a position open. Then and only then should you send a PM to Omni. And again you will wait for a response. Normally the first PM read will gain the position. That's not to say it's the first PM sent to Omni. Just the first one he reads. So it's random enough that just about anyone can get it and botting to be first to send a PM will likely work against you. It's similar to being the 10th caller to a radio station to win a prize. "
My suggestion is that each sticky spot should be held as auction every week, the start bid could be the current prices, so instead of tryna get bullseye in admins inbox you just place a bid at the auction :)

This just adds more work to Omni's tasks when he's already pretty busy. Imo it seems way easier to just have them PM him as they do now.
Besides that, there's also https://hackforums.net/buysticky.php which is semi-automated.

I have some ideas for something of that nature but mainly for the last position in a sold out section. Still working on automated paid sticky setup.
