They don't work anymore.

Just make sure your skype is updated and you're good.

Most likely they're resolving your old ip which was in the database before, meaning you're probably on a static ip you should call your isp and ask to get your ip changed.

He's still resolvable if he's in your contacts.
However, Skype Resolvers themselves don't work anymore due to the Skype update which unchecked the "Allow direct connections to contacts only".

Which means the Skype resolver client needs to have the specific person in its contactlist.

Most ISP's don't change your IP on request. So if you got a static IP you're fucked. 🤝

With the new update to skype, Wireshark will still get your IP.

Just do what anybody should already be doing and have on a VPN.

All you need is a SOCKS5 proxy set up on your Skype.
With a VPN on you won't have access to HF.

you are unresolvable now with skype resolver api. if someone gets you in a call they can still get your ip via wireshark

* - Sift - Apr 11, 2016

Use skype web vpn + proxy extension then you're good.

* - Senpie - Apr 13, 2016

Wireshark can still get your IP address through calls, but I suggest moving away from the Skype platform and moving to a more safe solution.

Skype has been P2P for years, packet analysers will always find the source IPs on skype. Even though Skype resolvers no longer work, I'd recommend making sure it still only allows direct connections to contacts only.
