So I was banned for the past three days, for breaking the marketplace violation, though, this thread has been alive since the 23rd of March, without being banned, that is quite disrespectful.

I would just like to know what the difference is, considering we both offered money for a decryption.
Don't say; "But his is a contest" – that makes no sense, I could also just put "contest" in the subject of my thread and then it would be okay? Come-on.
I would love a reasoning for this; I am honestly confused.

No offense to you or staff but its the law. Law is just words. Thats why loopholes exists in law. Thats how good lawyer can change anything. Deal with it.

The limit is 48 hours. PM staff with the thread if it's over 48 hours old. If you do, you'll know whether or not anything similar to your situation is disallowed.

Don't accuse staff because action was not taken, mistakes happen and things can be missed there's a lot of post going on in this forum daily.
Clearly someone forgot to report that post simply PM it to an Admin/Staff Member.

His thread belongs in Contests which is not a violation of the policy you broke.
