I would move over to web.skype if it isn't as buggy, you have troubles adding/deleting/accepting people

That's because resolvers have your IP already from someone previously resolving you so it's stored. If your up is already stored nothin will stop it because that ip is saved to your Skype name on the server. If you want to change that either change your ip or Make a new Skype account

If you're worried about getting ddos'd when you haven't been properly introduced to the hackerz world.

The update for skype will fix resolving, the update sets "allow direct connections to contacts only" by default to stop skype resolvers working.

If someone is your contact and they are using skype DEOB they will be able to resolve your IP still.

As Mr. Robot said, there was a setting in skype that allowed direct connections regardless of a connection from the host (Either a contact or an unknown) that you could turn off and basicly render any resolves innactive.

There was a guy on HF that was providing a script that changed your skype IP to his dedicated machine and you wouldn't get DDoSed nor resolved.

Yes i'm aware of that but as you can see from my skype, this option is not available. I have updated my skype from skype.com

Yes if someone is your contact on skype, they can resolve you.
