Remove programs that refuse to uninstall? - NetworkSilence - Apr 16, 2016 How can I remove multiple programs that refuse to uninstall? I have some old EA games installed on my PC through origin, however control panel wont let me remove them... wtf? Can anyone help me with this? Thx * - Skorn Virus - Apr 16, 2016 If you're not able to find the software or programs through CP or in "Programs & Features" and are still able to find them. Then you might need to go into "regedit" and delete all the leftover registry entries that they left behind to completely uninstall them. Or download a "Uninstaller" that can force uninstall and shred. * - Aveling - Apr 16, 2016 You can give Revo Uninstaller a try, it will first run the program's uninstaller, then it will scan for leftovers in the register and your harddisk. * - Xycon - Apr 16, 2016 Open origin>rightclick game tile>uninstall Thats pretty much the best you can do as far as removing origin crap goes * - Matrix Programmer - Apr 16, 2016 freeze ur computer in an earlier state and go back to it * - nn84743 - Apr 17, 2016 You can try uninstalling them through CCleaner, which also clears the registry and keeps your computer from slowing down. * - Davy - Apr 17, 2016 Uninstalling trough Revo Uninstaller / CCleaner, should do the job for you. * - werhuman - Jul 5, 2016 Revo Uninstaller can uninstall from the context menu too. Highlight the draw of the offending program (assuming you can find it) and choose the Uninstall with revo option. Make sure you don't restart your computer until you've done a scan for left over bits. You will need to make sure this is an Advanced Scan. From the program main window do an uninstall of a program you still have the instal l for and when the uninstaller finishes DON'T select the restart option just close the uninstaller and set the scan option to Advanced. Exit Revo and reinstall your program. Revo will remember the scan setting for when it's next used. |
