Hey all!

On behalf of Legends, I'd like to present our Private Investigation Methods and Anonymity helpdesk. We're here to answer any and all of your questions, but please remember HF rules when asking them.

Do note that this is NOT a doxing service. We will NOT be completing doxings for you. Do not contact us if this is what you're looking for. We're here to offer advice on an education basis, and to try and help you out with anything you may be struggling with.

Epicur - although my business on HF is 100% WH, I'm a freak of security and like to be as much protected as I can. I'm studying Telecommunications Engineer, and one of my subects is about Tunnels and MLPS, which is similar to the technology VPN's use. I'll try to answer your questions as good as I can.

Stazzy - 8 months of experience in pi and anonymity topics. I do my work privately offsite, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Zayzo - I complete services for doxing/de-tracing on HF and off-site. I've been doing services of this kind for a multitude of years. Contact me if you have any questions.

What vpn you recommend thats cheap but actually good?

How do you feel about tor or i2p?
Is running a vpn then i2p service on a linux OS not secure enough? What do you believe is the most ideal setup for anonymity (SOCKS5, VPS, VPN, tor, i2p, iceweasel, disabled JavaScript, parrot/tails, etc)

Mullvad. They're located in Sweden and accept Bitcoin, Cash, and Bank Wire. An alternative would be Torguard.

Tor and I2P are different in their own ways. Although I can't discuss dw content here, I2P is better for that. It all comes down to personal preference. That setup wouldn't be secure enough. Something I would do is Linux VPS > VM routed to TOR > VPN > SOCKS5 CHAIN > TOR. You could also use other people's wifi while connecting to vps. Burner is also recommended.

Have you tried searching through dbs or doing the 'forgot password' technique for his name? I'm naming a few, there are more you could do to get information off of the guy.

Thread above written by me should be the best standard setup for everyone. You can increase security, by booting raspberry pi2 to tor as router.

Check out my post above for security setup, once you get all that set up. I would recommend getting a new router/modem from your ISP which will assign you a new IP. Once you have this done, you can hide your new IP so it won't ever be leaked.
