Doed C# can be used for hacking as like c did using win32 API and all? - mr.cracker - Apr 20, 2016 Does c# can be used for hacking? Will it help to write malwares, rootkits and DLL hooking? Can we use c# to do anything like people did using c and c++ ? * - iLogic™ - Apr 20, 2016 Yes you can use C# for same purposes as C/C++. And also C# is easier to learn but it requires .NET framework and C/C++ doesn't. * - 0x7FFDF000 - Apr 21, 2016 When you'll hook, you'll have to hook .NET as well which is a joke * - mr.cracker - Apr 21, 2016 (Apr 21, 2016 07:11 AM)0x7FFDF000 Wrote: When you'll hook, you'll have to hook .NET as well which is a jokeI didn't understand. Can you please explain a little more? Are you saying it is not possible using C#? * - 0x7FFDF000 - Apr 21, 2016 (Apr 21, 2016 09:34 AM)mr.cracker Wrote: I didn't understand. Can you please explain a little more? It's possible, just horrible. Whenever you'll inject code into a process and you'll be interested in using initialized objects and methods out of C#, you'll have to include the entire framework your language works with. This is not always feasible. Makes injections awful, bloated, detected. While in C/++ the DLLs are already used as part of the engine (usually) or you can use localized functions/visualized functions as part of a virtual method table. and this is ignoring object linking of which the MSIL and CLI are not compatible at all with the C/++ linker, symbol table and assembly but again talking about memory / DLL / lib injection / memory corruption and shellcoding passively or externally slurping around processes can be done with C#, ReadProcessMemory() etc like here http://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=298510 but it's just shit tldr learn C/++ * - mr.cracker - Apr 21, 2016 (Apr 21, 2016 10:10 AM)0x7FFDF000 Wrote: It's possible, just horrible.
