Photos taking up tons of space - thales - Apr 26, 2016

Can't fix it. I've deleted all but like 5 pictures and deleted everything INCUDING the "Recently deleted" album. Still says I have 2.4gb in photos. I don't want to reset my phone or anything.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Try deleting your recently deleted photos.
And try deleting your phot stream if you have one.

I said I already deleted my recently deleted photos and not even sure what "photo stream" is.

It's useless.
If it involves iCloud, I have iCloud disabled.

Settings->general->reset->erase all content and settings and erase all content. Make sure its backed up, haven't done this in awhile. But i remember having the same problem and it worked.

If that doesn't work then maybe try....

He stated he didn't want to reset his phone.
The only other thing I can think of is your message attachments, which should go under messages.
