Steam Subforum or Section? - mural - Apr 30, 2016

I've noticed that people have just been asking questions about Steam/VAC in the Counter Strike section.

So I was wondering why isn't there one for Steam or PC Gaming in general.

I understand there is the gamers lounge but that it multi-platform discussion.

Just a thought.

If you can provide some links to such threads in the wrong section, that would help Omni understand the weight of this problem.
As of right now, I just had a nosy, and it looks more like people are posting in the wrong section, the odd time, as opposed to there not being a relevant section for the content.

I think if you can find a significant amount of threads, relatively new (perhaps the last month and newer?) then you can build a strong case for your suggestion. In the mean time, I would suggest reporting the threads as 'Wrong Forum' mate. :)

Well they are usually steam related.

Counter-Strike is the closest thing related to steam because it was made by Valve who made Steam. So people just usually post there because there is no where else to really post besides the Gaming Lounge

I swear there used to be a Steam forum, perhaps it wasn't used enough.

The Gamers Lounge is practically the Steam / PC Gaming section. Though not a lot of people use it as such.

I think this would be a nice edition and help filter out Steam and Vac related questions from Counter-Strike and other Steam games.

I think a forum description change would help more than a new forum in this situation. The computer and online gaming forum would be fine for steam topics as would the gamer's lounge.

Maybe they can make for Dota Steam also .. or a new category for Steam :)
