It might increase your prestige (Only Omniscient knows and it's his little secret), but I wouldn't call that "getting anything". Other than that, nothing.

Nothing. Which is weird because I would have thought it would have granted something, however I guess referrals are easily faked.

There are no direct perks to referring members. However, that doesn't mean referring to the forum isn't greatly appreciated.

I don't think there should be any reward for people who refer.
If you like HF and you want your friends to be part of it then just invite them without expecting any reward in return.
