Just finished watching it.
The feels, but that was a fantastic one.
The story, the characters, mm

Tbh this is may be a somewhat different suggestion as it doesn't have to do with "bombing" or terrorism persay; but it is a great show imo and is brutal in its own way of violence and its really good; i suggest you watch speedgrapher; it's pretty bloody and fucked up if you like that type of show. And deals with conspiracies and underground societies etc.

Sakamichi no Apollon (Kids on the Slope) is a great pick for something similar to ZnT.
Same director Shinichiro Watanabe, and same godly composer Yoko Kanno, who is behind plenty of masterpiece OSTs. Both shows have a similar feel to it at times, and boths casts feel similar.
This one doesn't involve explosions and riddles though. What it does involve though, is alot of killer jazz tunes.
Seriously recommend it.

Sometimes I feel as if ZnT doesn't get the credit it deserves. Its rarely talked about, and not a lot of people have even seen it... ?

I loved zankyou no terror I still haven't found a show that hits as hard as it does.

Akira is a masterpiece, but I wouldn't say it's like Zankyou no Terror.

It's ranked in the top 100 for popularity on MAL. I'd say a fair amount of people have seen it.

Looks interesting, added to to watch list :P
