I mean I guess this is arguable because you may be able to get an ad space on a huge website for really cheap but this is my reasoning behind this statement.
Non-paid advertising on reddit and Facebook is insane. I can pull about 6-7k visitors in about 2-4h on reddit and Facebook and literally spend nothing.
I'm posting this because I hate watching people blow $100 on ad space and only get 100 visitors. If you want to spend $100 send it to me and I'll get u around 6-7k visitors or explain to you how to do it (I didn't actually mean that please don't ban me for buying/selling outside if marketplace).

Social media, networking, and communities can be insane ways to grow niches and get traffic.
I launched a csgo niche website and pushed a lot of the traffic to it from Twitter. It ran for a year self sustained with built in retweet to enter on site functions and it just took off and grew itself. On top of all that I did insane Reddit marketing and Grew an insta off the Twitter. Never paid a dime. Site traffic reached about 1k a day and on peak days where we directed them to our site or tweeted, it could break 10k.

Twitter is really good, I'll be moving into that soon.
