Hello Fellow HF Users

I have decided to offer all the users of HF a free VPN with a multitude of features including a custom client, Port Forwarding and 13+ Locations.

Visit https://darkfedora.com on the lower part of the website you will find a section titled free trial code generator, below that you will find a generated code that you will need to copy. Once copied client the register tab and create an account, use the code you copied to redeem your free month of service.

These codes generated on the homepage will always be unique and will always work. Once your membership expires visit the homepage again and get your self another code to renew your membership.

All packages purchased will be going towards the cost and operation of the VPN and to improve this service i offer to you guys out my own pocket.

I hope you enjoy this service and that you find it useful, feel free to open a ticket should you encounter any bugs or if you have a feature request.

HEAD OVER TO OUR WEBSITE AND SIGNUP FOR AN ACCOUNT YOU WILL THEN BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THE NEW CUSTOM CLIENT!


Here are instructions for users who are not familiar with setting up/using openvpn:

Quote:OpenVPN GUI Instructions:
1. Download OpenVPN GUI from https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html If you have a 32 bit operating system get the 32 bit version, if you have 64 bit operating system get the 64 bit version.

2. Install the software, then login to DarkFedora.com and go to the Downloads Tab. Download the config zip folder.
Extract the files.

3. Place the files in the following directory:
If you installed the 32 bit version: C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config
If you installed the 64 bit version: C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenVPN\config

4. Launch OpenVPN-GUI as Admin

5. Right click on the OpenVPN-GUI icon in your task bar and you should be able to connect to the different servers.

6. Enter the credentials provided to you on the right on the dashboard page by clicking https://darkfedora.com/members/index.php


Here are some speedtests i ran to test the speeds of some of our locations.

Cool but what about those people who actually buy it? i mean those speedtest are too low if there is multiple users at same time using data bandwdith requiring highspeed data transfer, these speeds really will kill.

Is this perhaps a limit for VPN clients? or for trial users to not abuse server for DDoS things?

Anyway, good thing but im really afraid of VPN products from HF, especially those who offers even to download their own VPN software, nah, not my thing don't take it personal.

Yes indeed it is! however i would not suggest using it until the custom client comes out within the next couple days.

Its ok we all got to start somewhere right? I have added instructions on the front page for everybody else who is having issues with this until i release the custom client!
