Is it cool if 2 or more than 2 versions of JDK is installed in computer? - [Rn] 7s^2 - May 21, 2016

The one that is linked on PATH is the only one that will work, right?

Are there any issues that I should be aware of?

ususally in your IDE you can set the path of the JDK you wish to use. I've used eclipse on school computers with 3 versions of the JDK installed, I just pointed it to the one I wanted to use

Cool. I have few more questions can you please answer them? :)

Do we need to set JDK and JRE both location to the PATH variable OR only the JDK's location to PATH variable?

You only need the bin of the JDK, since it comes with all of the JRE's executables. 🤝

Thanks bro... I will install it and set it up today. I'll post back if I have more questions. :-)

Just a quick question: Which IDE you good programmers support?

NetBeans or Eclipse or any other?

it's a matter of preference. I personally use intellij IDEA, but you should try all of them and see which one you like best. eclipse is generality recommended for beginners.

As others have said, in your IDE you can point to specific ones.

Everyone got their own taste, try all.

Netbeans, Eclipse and Intellij.
