Average Age on Hack Forums? - Seinfeld - May 28, 2016
While I am waiting to get my main account reset I thought I would spend some time in the lounge.
What do you guys think the average age for a person on Hack Forums is?
If I had to guess I would say 17-19

It's pretty impossible to give you an answer of the average age of hackforum users, unless you cross check it against all the ages users have listed on their account currently(which can be a lie). But if I had to guess, I would say probably between 13 - 20.

Why do they leave after 17 I have always wondered. Is it that they get used to hacking to the point it gets boring for them or is it that they outgrow hacking?

Most people don't come to hackforums to learn how to hack, at least not anymore. It's more of a general discussion board these days. I must admit, I originally joined hackforums back in 2012 to learn how to boot kids offline(I know.. skiddo)... 🤣
But I quickly got over that, and went inactive for awhile. But since returning two years ago, I have done nothing more then sell things(within the market place) and discuss different subjects, etc.

Older than you may think. There's a lot of sections not accounted for, and a large demographic of users who dwell in certain sections that are easily overlooked. I'd say the average age is around 18 years old.

This statement is true, but I would put the average age a little bit lower based on a lot of posts I seen where people said they was 16 (or somewhere around the age of 16). But sure you can't base this on everyone, but I do believe there are a lot of under aged kids on hackforums surely.
