I'm failing to transfer whatsapp web cookies from one computer to another. - PROVIDENC3 - Jun 3, 2016 The idea is to import the cookies of web.whatsapp.com stored in chrome browser to another computer with the same browser and get it to work (signed in), but i'm failing hard, anyone can suggest something? Same with mozilla firefox, export / import cookies into a new profile doesn't work, there must be something more that i have to import, but the victim has it in chrome, this was just a test that it's not just cookies. edit: scanning the qr code isn't an option * - vaibhavyawalkar - Sep 3, 2016 Web.whatsapp.com domain does not use cookies. instead it sends browser and device identification data to server, which is validated on server side and if association is found to any whatsapp account then that device gets logged in. This identification data also includes time since installation of chrome at the time of first sign in, hence if you uninstall and then reinstall chrome, identification data doesn't match. |
