Is there any way to do this bypassing 2FA? Supposedly if you had the person ratted?

Yes technically if you have the person ratted you should be able to send a trade request from their account to your account.
→ This will not work if they have SMS verification enabled (Unless you can manage to rat their phone as well lol)

2/3 years ago this was pretty simple, there was shops for this kind of hacks on other forums, lately, haven't seen it.

I believe the primary reason for this is because of increased steam security measures, such as 2fac auth.

You can. Wait for them to go AFK or if you have hidden RDP or HVNC it dosent matter. Go on their steam profile and say you lost the phone, then disable the phone verification. YOu will have to confirm via email which shouldnt be a problem. Then do the trade, the only problem is that it will take 15 days to confirm. I advise you destroy the PC.

Have nice day

The only way you would be able to do this is if you somehow changed the person's confirmation information, since they can recover password easily and just get steam to do the one time refund, but there maybe a way to bypass this but I'm not sure, maybe when you have the account fake the 1 time refund of their items, and then trade them to yourself and then they can't get them back. that's just an Idea I'm not sure if steam can prevent it but its worth a try I think.
