2nd Thread Dz - Me$$iaH - Jun 23, 2016

Decided to have a run at a second attempt for a Thread Design. Spent an hour or two drafting a design for an upcoming Graphics Service and releasing the psd shortly after. I need some volunteers to rip into it and point out the flaws so far, this is just draft stage right now so its missing some information and stuffffff.
If that's bugging you I'll update OP asap.
Edit: I'm aware of a spelling mistake or two recently

Don't know if I dig the blur at the top with the name. Also, is the "EyeSpye Thread Design" at the bottom just a watermark or is it part of the actual design?

Otherwise, it looks very nice :)

Bottom is meant to be a watermark, what did you believe it to be, I can tweak it? I'll remove the blur and repost a link for the difference in 5

its too shiny the white page , maybe you can change the white page to the same colors as the other pages , can be really nice !

I would maybe fade the blur at the top into the picture or keep it consitent and blur all the way through
pictures look a little lq but that isn't under your control. I would go with a more hd set of pictures. Your idea is nice but it was just executed a little sloppy. fix some of the quality issues and you should be gucci

Made some edits, for the better or worse?
  • Added a background image to pricing

  • Changed Display Image at the top to a 4k image

  • Removed box blur

  • Removed top box corner outlines

  • Added a new heading

  • Added Line Spacers

  • Added text

I like it alot, although i would change the "GFX SERVICE" Font.. I feel like it doesn't really fit in.. But that just might be me.

One major thing that most new designers aren't aware of is typography.
Your text is very spread-out, thin & overall hard to see.

Such a great and amazing 10/10 cover picture but that GFX service text's color and font is ruining it all.

Therefore, 5/10 :-(

Other parts are 9/10 :-)

I've never actually looked into typography yet, cheers for this I'll give it a read and apply it to a new design soon.

To my eye I thought the colour of the text blended a bit with the whole thread design, had to do a whole lot of tweaks to get it to fit well though so maybe as you pointed out I was wrong to try "hack" it into the composition. Ill definitely take it to note next time. May even update OP if I get time soon

I don't really like the blur on header, you should just make the text centralized without the blur it looks a loot cleaner in my opinion. Everything else looks pretty good in my opinion. :)
