IPB hashes are usually salted, are you sure you didn't miss the salt?

If i run an Md5 attack on that hash i get response so i guess its a MD5

Thats not how it works I am afraid. The only way to confirm an algorithm is by cracking the hash. IPB hashes looks like salted MD5 hashes, but without the salt you won't be able to crack it. It will run in all MD5 crackers, but you will never be able to crack it.

The salt should be "mkR", though I cant be 100% sure as the version of the db I have is a little mangled due to a shitty parse I did.
