Even if i open python.exe it opens a calculator.. i can't run .py files because it opens a calculator.. I'v tried opening them in cmd and same thing.. I don't know whats the problem.. * - Goodies - Jun 28, 2016 lmao you fucked up and renamed the binary. Or you were fucking around with binary poisoning and injected a calculator into it. Open a command prompt and type this: PHP Code Post the path. * - muroseu - Jun 28, 2016 (Jun 28, 2016 03:19 PM)Goodies Wrote: lmao you fucked up and renamed the binary. Have you tried installing python3.5? Also has python worked in the past for you? * - @beef - Jun 29, 2016 This is really strange. wtf if reinstalling doesn't work then idk tbh * - muroseu - Jun 29, 2016 (Jun 29, 2016 12:00 AM)Schwagstika Wrote: What an unusual error. Because it works great on my linux machine * - garkolym - Jul 2, 2016 Try to clean your regedit :) * - Goodies - Jul 2, 2016 Something tells me you have malware... that's looking for "Python.exe" * - muroseu - Jul 4, 2016 (Jul 2, 2016 09:26 PM)Goodies Wrote: Something tells me you have malware... that's looking for "Python.exe" Nope not malware. Scanned my PC with every fucking program and checked a lot of files/regedit etc manually * - ihatevim - Jul 4, 2016 Regardless of what it is, a format and reinstall of Windows/Your OS should fix it. * - NCluke - Jul 5, 2016 Since no one has asked, check the basics, are you sure your file association for python files is actually set to python? I assume you've tried to open python directly from the installation: C:\Python<XX>\py.exe Does it do the same thing if you try opening it from CMD? "start C:\Python<XX>\py.exe" You're not running any keybind/macro programs/hardware right? * - muroseu - Jul 5, 2016 Edit: Reinstalled Windows 10 on the machine with python problems. I have linux and windows machines * - Grimm Reaper - Jul 6, 2016 have u tried checking "gpedit.msc" ? :P ( some of the policies might be altered and thus the problem? maybe >> ) |
