Cross posting via stickies - Αyden - Jul 4, 2016 For example: Thread A is in Premium Sellers Section Then Thread B is stickied in Secondary Sellers Market selling the same thing in Thread A. Is this allowed? Because in the sticky policy it reads "You can't cross posting with your partners or resellers. If you do expect your sales threads junked and a warning. " However this thread is an individual product being sold by one user. * - minimalist - Jul 4, 2016 Stickies move the thread from their original section to the target section, they don't duplicate threads. * - Αyden - Jul 4, 2016 (Jul 4, 2016 02:35 AM)Minimalist Wrote: Stickies move the thread from their original section to the target section, they don't duplicate threads.I know that, that's not what im asking for help about. It's hard to say. I saying can you make two threads in two different sections if they are stickied? * - minimalist - Jul 4, 2016 (Jul 4, 2016 02:36 AM)Αyden Wrote: I know that, that's not what im asking for help about. Of course not, if a thread is stickied then it's still a thread 😧 * - WakenBake - Jul 4, 2016 (Jul 4, 2016 02:47 AM)Minimalist Wrote: Of course not, if a thread is stickied then it's still a thread 😧 You probably didn't get what he was asking. Anyway, no I don't think you can post in 2 diff sections and sticky them, that'd be pretty LQ TBH * - Αyden - Jul 4, 2016 (Jul 4, 2016 03:03 AM)WakenBake Wrote: You probably didn't get what he was asking. I wouldn't call it LQ, i'd call it great advertising ;) 🤝 * - Pew - Jul 4, 2016 You would have answered your question if you thought logically about the rule. You can't cross posting with your partners or resellers. If you do expect your sales threads junked and a warning. Two of the same threads being stuck. * - minimalist - Jul 4, 2016 (Jul 4, 2016 03:03 AM)WakenBake Wrote: You probably didn't get what he was asking. My interpretation was correct though * - Evanescent - Jul 4, 2016 I don't think it's allowed though I have seen these type of cases earlier. May be Omni had given them permission. But will wait for staff's input here. * - Greg - Jul 4, 2016 Link the two threads so we know which one's you're talking about. * - Αyden - Jul 4, 2016 (Jul 4, 2016 04:46 AM)H3God Wrote: Link the two threads so we know which one's you're talking about. I'm stating in theory tense here. * - Cecilia - Jul 4, 2016 I've seen 'support' threads being sticked as well as the product in another forum being sticked. So... I guess you can dodge around the rules but they'll eventually catch up to you. * - Armada - Jul 4, 2016 (Jul 4, 2016 04:46 AM)H3God Wrote: Link the two threads so we know which one's you're talking about. This Why bother with "theory"? You have obviously made a correlation / link between 2 threads to be asking so why not provide the links? I think its a piss waste of money to sticky a support thread, however at times its needed.I guess if you really wanted to abuse the system its in theory possible, but also note. Omni alone reviews manually and deals with stickies, Im pretty sure if you derped around long enough hed take an action of some kind if you abused the system in that way. |
