codedom compile errors after editing .txt - Hackyer - Jul 6, 2016
I have a .txt stub file in resources and when i copy the code to a .vb file in my project for easyer editing and paste it back into the .txt stub it compiles with errors even when i change the code back to when it was working.
Im using vs2015 i have been away from hf and done no coding for years and when i was using vs2010 never had this problem maybe there is somthing different in the software that im missing, would be great to get some help with this as its driving me nutz.

So what errors are you getting? Have you taken a look at the CompilerResults class?
Perhaps you forgot to add the appropriate referenced assemblies.
Also, there's no need for a .txt file stub. You can just add a .cs file as resource (Add Resource > Add Existing File). Makes everything a whole lot easier.

Thanks for the advise, my code was fine i solved the issue by turning off "Pretty Listing (Reformatting) of Code" in the settings. 👍
